How are Traffic Drums used?

Traffic drums with reflective strips help to indicate a change of direction during lane closures or to signify a separated division of lanes and roads when construction or maintenance works are ongoing. Traffic drums can be used to alert both pedestrians and motorists to promote better visibility of the road conditions up ahead. Apart from reflective strips, a heavyweight ring is also attached for added stability. If a rubber drum is being used, the drum will pop out of its base upon impact of a collision for safety reasons. There is also an option of installing barricade lights for greater visibility. When these few factors are combined, traffic drums act as a highly durable and beneficial precautionary measure to support safety for both motorists as well as road workers.
